We’re pleased to announce we’ve added a new face to our growing team. Dan Woynillowicz has joined Clean Energy Canada at Tides Canada as director of policy and partnerships.
Dan—who goes by Dan W.—comes our way via the Pembina Institute, where he worked for the better part of a decade, and where he served as policy analyst and, most recently, policy and communications director.
Passionate about Canadian energy policy and politics, Dan has authored or contributed to numerous reports on environmental, climate change and economic policy related to Canadian energy development.
In 2012 he co-authored In the Shadow of the Boom: How Oilsands Development is Re-shaping Canada’s Economy. More recently, he completed a soon-to-be-released report on policy options to unleash Canada’s clean energy entrepreneurs. He has published commentaries in a range of publications, including the Globe and Mail, iPolitics, The Hill Times and Postmedia, and he has presented at conferences and roundtables throughout North America.
